Hi is anyone planning to overhaul the bot code for rocmod, either better AI or .wps route compatibillity. Is Any development going on or is it dead and finished now...........

The answer is yes. I have done exactly that. The mod is in final testing right now. The server seems to run fine, no crashes. It plays alot like pwn[bot], but is not as refined.
The mod is a melding of Rocmod 2.1c and the bot code from UNF104.
No changes to the client are required. Its a serverside change only.
If you want to test it out I have a few servers running the mod. For now, Im calling it AdvancedAI for Rocmod. Here are the IP's.

Support board will be in the House of Boom forums for now.

I dont have a release date yet. I just got this stuff working.  It needs more testing, documenting, and to be packed up. I'll probably release it soon, as I dont think Im going to spend too much more time on this. Try the two servers I mentioned and let me know if you think I should pack it up as is.

Bummer, you must have forgot your pass. I'll ask Tux to reset it. I have a support forum on my House of Boom site as well that I check. I just need to pack up the files. I'll PM you on the House of Boom where to download it. |

This is some awesome news Johnny. Just before Aarnor stopped coding RoC I was trying to get him and the PWN Bot guys to work out a way to merge the two. Aarnor was all for it but sadly the PWn Bot dude seems to have all but stopped developing PWN and most of the time cannot even get hold of him due to his ill health.
I (and our clan) look forward to your version with much excited anticipation. |

Just tested out server 1. Very nice mods man. So hurry up and release it already.
BTW, are you still using the old waypoint program (wnt) or have you moved to the PWN version (wps) which is way easier to use a much much better.

Hes only gone and changed it to wps for the waypoint system, Our second server is set up as another test server running TDM & CTF
